About
Welcome to Baba Boudan's Espresso, a charming little coffee haven nestled at 701 N College Ave, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Known for its inviting atmosphere and exceptional quality, this family-owned cafe has quickly become a beloved spot for both locals and visitors. As a food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I am excited to delve into the delightful offerings this coffee shop provides.
Baba Boudan's Espresso is not your typical coffee shop. They pride themselves on their in-house roasting, crafting a unique espresso blend that leans more towards a roasty profile rather than fruity notes. This approach is a hit among customers who appreciate a dark, rich crema and a bold flavor without the acidity often found in other blends. One customer raves, "Some of the best espresso in Fayetteville”—a statement that resonates with many who have savored their brews.
The menu, while simple, is beautifully curated. You can indulge in their delectable House Blend or savor a House Blend Mocha, alongside comforting staples like Hot Chocolate and an array of breakfast options. Whether you're stopping by for a flavorful breakfast burrito, a creamy yogurt parfait, or a classic bagel with cream cheese, there's something to satisfy every palate. On weekends, expect comforting local favorites like biscuits and gravy, making for a perfect weekend brunch.
And let's not forget about the sweet treats! Baba Boudan’s offers an enticing selection of pastries and desserts, including cookies, granitas, and shakes. One particularly delightful mention is their brownie, which has been praised for its perfect sweetness and rich chocolate flavor adorned with walnuts. A true testament to their commitment to quality, every dish served here reflects an unwavering attention to detail and flavor.
Adding to the cozy vibe, the atmosphere is laid-back, making it an ideal spot for a quick coffee run or a leisurely catch-up with friends. Customers repeatedly highlight the friendly service, creating a welcoming environment that feels like home. While they operate on a cash-only basis, the convenience of an ATM on-site, along with complimentary chocolate-covered coffee beans for users, adds a unique touch that makes each visit memorable.
In a city rich with coffee options, Baba Boudan's Espresso stands out as a hidden gem. With its quality coffee, delightful menu, and warm hospitality, it’s more than just a place to grab a cup of joe—it’s a community gathering spot that makes Fayetteville unique. Whether you're in search of the finest espresso or a cozy nook to unwind, be sure to visit Baba Boudan's and experience the magic for yourself.
“ Some of the best espresso in Fayetteville straight up. Their espresso blend is more roasty than fruity which is my preference. Never had a bad pull here, simply dark crema covered excellence. If you prefer your espresso not to be an acid bomb fruit basket you'll love it here. ”
“ Hidden Gem!!! Baba Boudan’s in Fayetteville is a small, cash-only coffee shop that delivers on charm and quality. They roast their coffee in-house, offering drinks like their popular mocha Mexicana alongside fresh pastries and a local-favorite biscuits-and-gravy on Saturdays. While it’s cash-only, there’s an ATM inside—and a fun bonus: if you use the ATM, you’ll get free chocolate-covered coffee beans as a thank-you. The laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff make it feel like a true local gem, perfect for a quick stop or a cozy sit-down. Whether you’re grabbing a cup to go or staying to chat, Baba Boudan’s is worth the visit . ”
“ Very cool and chique place. A small Family owned cafe. The staff/ owners are amazing. The only problem is they don’t accept card! Even in 2021 However, they have an ATM inside. For each transaction they offer a banana/ biscotti. Mind blowing!! The iced mocha that I ordered was very nice, and the piece of brownie was the best brownie I have had in recent times. I’m pretty picky about brownies, and this one is the best to my tastebuds. It’s a small piece, baked to the perfection, optimum sweet, plenty of walnuts and real chocolate. What else one can expect! Do visit this place, and give them your support. The sell coffee beans as well. The environment inside is also very nice and laid back. ”
“ I have had the pleasure of knowing the owners and going here with my parents since I was a kid. The espresso is the best in town bar none and way cheaper than other places. Just do yourself a favor and support the local businesses that make Fayetteville so unique. ”
“ We came for coffee and breakfast, we got a cappuccino the best ever, they have a variety of dairy free milk options. The sausage, egg, cheese biscuit was delicious. The service and the people were very friendly. 100% recommended. ”
“ Great fresh ground coffee. For a real treat Yey the Orange Julia. Fabulous, better than any orange Julius I ever had. ”
“ Guess I better drive up there and try it out! Seems like I've seen that fan before. Bzzzzzz. So I did! WOW! The best fresh roasted coffee you will ever have! The Latte amazing. The simple Espresso? Espresso Love! But the owner is an award-winning culinary artist whose cookies bring in their very own audience. The delicious classic shortbread, the perfect chocolate brownie, not too cakey & not too flat. The peanut butter cookie is one of her originals with its own fan club. A great authentic coffee shop that roasts its own fresh beans. The team is friendly even though they get super busy. Drive in window, too. ”
“ There is so much to love be about this place! Great coffee from any place you could dream of. It smells like heaven and the owner really loves it,! I like the Orange Julian. Apparently the best thing going food wise is the biscuit & gravy IN A CUP! Fun! A sausage biscuit goes in a togo coffee cup, then gravy goes on top. Heaven in a cup. He has coffees from every corner of the world, which you can buy it is whole bean form or just a brewed cup of your favorite from here. Go here, enjoy the out door seating or even drive through! ”
